Having worked in all types of social housing properties, we fully respect the tenants’ homes, working hours that accommodate their needs, as well as ensuring all stakeholders, management officers and tenants are aware of the start and completion dates, thus providing full consultation, correspondence and communication throughout the entire projects.
Photos are often taken prior to commencement and on completion to confirm the quality of workmanship.
Post contract surveys are carried out on completion of works, to establish where we can improve our service on future projects.
What we offer:
Geckops work closely with our clients’ and partners, by carrying out a range of energy efficient construction works, to improve the quality of lives and ensure large energy bill savings to schools and to individuals in their homes. Such measures include double glazing, insulated internal walls, windows, lighting, door seals, boiler renewals and external insulated render schemes. We have an excellent record in delivering energy efficient projects to all our clients’ and we continue to evidence this in the ever changing market place.
Upon request our surveyor will visit your site and carry out a full survey, followed up with a detailed report, including a site plan and proposed specification of works. The units we specify and install range from a kitchen or bathroom fan to whole house ventilation solutions. Additional recommendations such as to increase air flow using ventilation or areas requiring chemical wash down will also be included within the report where necessary. We undertake all types of damp works, including, sub floor basement tanking (this system can convert a damp unusable cellar into a fully habitable space) and sump and ground floor tanking solutions to rectify rising damp issues.
Geckops have a large amount of equipment at our disposal ranging from sit-on mowers, wood chippers and JCB diggers. Our projects range from cutting lawns and trees, creating planting areas, altering grounds layouts, creating wildlife park areas, stables, including ponds, animal farm, feeding during holidays has a positive impact on our client’s homes, areas, commercial and school environments.
We specialise in providing fully compliant disabled facility grants, for a number of our clients’ such as school environments / NHS and councils, private occupants and social housing tenants. We can deliver the specific services and products to suit the exact needs of all disabled individuals, staff, customers and clients. Works include new disabled bathroom suites, site specific ramp access and house extensions that meets the specific needs of our clients’.
