Pond Project – Phase 1
About – This project was to create a pond area within the school field for outside learning enrichment. The first phase was to create the hard landscaped area including wood chip pathways, a non slip dipping decking the protrudes over the pond, a floating duck house for the school ducks, random stone edging and a full perimeter bow top fence with gate for health and safety when the pond is not in use.
Phase 2 which is now ongoing is to plant up the pond area to help promote both aquatic and normal wildlife, including a butterfly area, wild flower meadow grass, spring flowering bulbs and a seating area for a commemorative bench.
