The brief – Shelley First School were struggling with a really small administration area and office and were in need of an extension which would double the size of this space and which would allow them to work and operate much more effectively.
Our approach – At Geckops we worked collaboratively with the School to ensure that the new extension would deliver their needs and requirements.
Based in a conservation area we also needed to ensure the extension had an empathy with its environment and surroundings. We were responsible for the whole process from initial design proposals right through to the final build, construction and internal refit.
The result – A fully functional and attractive workspace with bespoke cupboards, units and fittings to meet the specific requirements of the school admin team. As a result of the successful completion of this project, we have been invited to work on Phase 2 of development… watch this space!
